Believe it or not, Chinese artist Liu Bolin does not use digital photo manipulation to achieve this see-through camouflage effect. The process is much more tedious, as he uses paint and a painstaking amount of patience.

Day 6-30 interesting facts about yourself.
1. My name is Veronica.
2. I am inexplicably attracted to the color blue. Somehow I always end up with it. Blue backpack, blue vans, blue fingernails. I don’t do it consciously but sometimes I just end up with blue things.
3. Despite #2, my room is lime green. It is the brightest possible color, besides neon, which would probably make my eyes cross. Green makes me happy but it’s also serene, in a way. I love my green room.
4. I hate physics.
5. I’ll come up with 25 more things when i’m not finishing the homework i procrastinated over “Ice Break.”
Day 5-A time you thought about ending your own life.
Obviously I have thought about ending my own life. Everyone thinks about it at some point. But that doesn’t mean I have seriously considered it, and it doesn’t mean that I ever will. I have only just considered what the world would lose if I ended my life.
I think I can humbly say that I have potential, and I am of value to society. I believe that everyone can contribute something, in their own special way. Any loss of life is not only terrible but detrimental to society.
Also, I see a future for myself. I get excited when I try to fathom what the world will be like when my children are as old as I am now. I love anticipating the obstacles and triumphs that I will experience in my lifetime.
In my mind, nothing can be gained through loss of life.

Also, this is a day late. I hate being late. But here it is anyway.
When I grow up, I want my house to be painted in bright colors. Not depressing subdivision colors, but bright colors that make me happy. That’s why my room is lime green-it puts me in a good mood.
